2017/2018 MEDMINA Spelling Bee

This terms’ spelling bee competition took place on 11th October, 2017.
The competition involved representatives from all classes who presented their best ‘Bees’ to compete for the position of the best speller.
The event was made up of a lot of twists, with different spellers striving to make ‘each word count’.
Out of all the 12 spellers in the competition, only four spellers emerged victorious. The four spellers include;
– Faridah Oladoyin Akanni
– Layla Mahmud Liman
– Maryam AbdulRasheed Bello, and
– Farihat Oreoluwa Lawal,
They would InshaAllah be representing the college in Ibadan State Qualifier for the National Spelling Bee in March next year.
