*Assalamu alaykum warahmatullah wabarakatuhu*
*MEDMINA COLLEGE IBADAN INTER-HOUSE SPORTS COMPETITION 2022*
On 17th March 2022, the air was electrifying and the excitement was palpable as Medmina College Ibadan and other members of the Medmina College family were full of anticipation of the day’s events.
The occasion began with an opening prayer. The Vice-Principal (Administration), Ustadh Rasheed AbdulKareem gave the Opening Remarks.
Afterwards, light body movements took place, as athletes were ready to compete.
The first categories of races that took place were the 100m races of both junior and senior categories.
The event continued with both track and field events occurring simultaneously. There was also a race among the female staff, and male staff of the school.
*Umar/Khadijah House* won the competition, and emerged as the *first place* in the inter-house sports event, with a new Medmina record points of *151 points*.
*Abubakar/Ameenah House* came second with *90 points*.
*Usman/Fateemah House* came third with *88 points*.
*Ali/Aisha House* came narrowly fourth with *87 points*
The boys continued their total domination in our usual tug of war. The scoreline is now *4-1* in favour of the boys.
In all, the day was a success. The inter-house sports event was a true demonstration of the spirit of sportsmanship that exists among Medmina College family.
