From The Human Resources Department
In the name of Allah, The Most Beneficent, Most Merciful
As a comprehensive Muslim faith-based school, Medmina College caters for a wide range of interests and abilities in addition to having a commitment to serve its students, staff and the wider community. The school has as its central concern, the achievement of excellence in a rich diversity of academic, social, religious, cultural and sporting pursuits. There are many opportunities for students to reach their personal best at Medmina College.
Why Human Resources?
Even though this department is not usually given recognition in this level of educational institutions, human resource division is rather an essential part of this kind of organization. The core job of the human resource department in education is however unique and very different from that of other organizations. One part of the responsibility of this department includes planning, recruiting, selection, induction, training, developing, ensuring safety, determining compensation packages and smoothing career path of personnel working in the organization. The other part of their responsibility is to collaborate with all stakeholders (parents, guardians, staff, society and students) to manage, nurture, educate and prepare the prospective ‘human resources of the society’. These prospective human resources are the students who will lead their families, societies, the country, and even beyond. Prosperity of a country is largely determined by the quality of these resources. The people who are responsible for developing these prospective human resources are certainly the greatest persons of the country and society.
It is therefore no wonder why, when entering our school, one cannot help but feel a sense of purposeful and careful planning designed to ensure that Medmina College is a safe, hospitable and welcoming environment for all. We aim to provide students with a ‘balanced’ school life that recognizes the role and importance of achievement in all facets of school efforts, while at the same time impressing upon them the importance and relevance of faith and citizenship in their lives as global Muslims.
Thank you for visiting, and we look forward to having you as part of our family.
BaarakAllahu feekum!
